CARBOXYTHERAPY
Carboxytherapy is a non-surgical skin treatment that involves injecting carbon dioxide gas via very fine needles.
Carboxytherapy is used to treat cellulite, stretch marks, skin laxity, dark circles, pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles. It works by stimulating blood flow in order to increase skin elasticity.
PRP treatment is used to boost collagen production in the skin, which improves its elasticity and overall complexion.
Skincare therapy at Healand covers a range of treatments, including mesotherapy, skin tox, microneedling, skinboosters, chemical peels and perfect peels.
Blemish removal involves treating thread veins by injecting blood vessels or lymph vessels, causing them to shrink.

Anti-wrinkle (or botox) injections relax the muscles in the face. They are used to reduce the appearance of lines on the face such as crow’s feet or frown lines.
Dermal fillers are an aesthetic treatment offered by Healand Clinic. They are used to plump up wrinkles, smooth lines and restore volume loss.

FAQs
HOW DOES THE TREATMENT WORK?
The first step to receive carboxytherapy at Healand Clinic is to undergo a thorough consultation, which will determine if the treatment is right for you.
This will include a full medical history and assessment to determine which treatment plan you will be put onto. You will also need to undergo a patch test before treatment can commence.
Carboxytherapy treatment sessions last between 30 minutes and one hour. You may experience some pain or bruising at the injection site, but this will dissipate with time.
In rare cases, an adverse reaction to the therapy may cause emphysema or a mycobacterium infection - the full implications of the treatment will be discussed with you at your consultation.
The results of the treatment should last between fine and six months. You may need to undergo more than one session to achieve the results you desire.
WHO COULD BENEFIT FROM CARBOXYTHERAPY THERAPY?
Carboxytherapy is safe for both male and female patients. Patients range in age from their late 20s to late 70s.
