HOW DOES THE TREATMENT WORK?
The first step to receiving dermal fillers at Healand Clinic is to undergo a thorough consultation, which will determine if the treatment is right for you. This will include a full medical history and assessment to determine which treatment plan you will be put onto.
Dermal fillers are non-surgical beauty treatments administered via injection. Each treatment session lasts between 30 minutes and two hours, depending on the type of treatment being received. The filler lasts for 3-18 months depending on the area treated, your lifestyle and your skin type. You may feel some pain at the site of the injection, as well as swelling, redness and bruising. This may last up to one week (varies from person to person).
There is a risk of occlusion if the fillers are placed incorrectly, as well as increased swelling, lumps, redness or infection. These possible side effects will be discussed at your consultations.
You should see instant results from your dermal filler treatment, which will improve over time. The effects of the treatment can last from one month to 18 months.
