Oceanic Consulting are thrilled to announce the outstanding individuals who have been honoured with prestigious awards at the inaugural edition of The 1st British Asian Professional Awards 2023.
This event, held on Friday 1 st September at Holiday Inn Birmingham City Centre, celebrated the remarkable achievements and contributions of British Asian professionals across various industries.
These Awards were established to recognise and celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of individuals who have made a significant impact in their respective fields, while also fostering diversity and inclusion in the British professional landscape.
The awards ceremony was attended by prominent leaders, influencers, and professionals from
various sectors, making it a memorable event that highlighted the vibrancy and diversity of the British Asian community. These Awards aim to promote diversity, inclusion, and excellence in the professional landscape while honouring individuals who have made a significant impact in their respective fields.
Syed Omar Babar from Healand Clinic, Leicester was one of the finalists in the Medic of the Year category. The competition was fierce, but Dr Omar Babar received the recognition and took the trophy home.
He explains: “I am thrilled to have won the award and to have been surrounded by so many outstanding people from a range of sectors was incredibly inspirational.
“I established Healand Clinic to bring together a wealth of medical knowledge and experience and to help treat people with the care they need.
“This award reflects my passion in providing exceptional care with treatments that can combat pain, improve wellbeing, and boost confidence.
“My medical experience has shown me that people’s health is their ultimate priority and as a medical professional people’s optimum health is my priority too.”
